I consider exhibitions an invitation to continue ongoing research. If possible I will bring a desk and instruments, books and work in progress and display these in such a way that there’s enough to see but the public is also able to step into the artistic research process and share their knowledge. The exhibition and research continues to evolve during its duration. The location, public and partners are essential for the direction of the work. Sometimes the projects are presented within the art context, in a museum, exhibition or gallery but more often it is with public or private partners such as universities, research institutes, companies, NGO’s and municipalities. My areas of interest include growth and shrinking, landscape and its perception, food and agriculture, human height, degrowth, work, cancer and fat.
